I've been developing WordPress sites for over a decade, and while I'm quick to put new technology to work, I don't take it on faith. Howdy, I'm Nate, and I'm drawn to design. I craft book covers that make readers stop mid-scroll, build brand identities with actual personality, and shoot photography that tells a whole story in a single frame.
Honestly? I just like creating things. Book cover, brand identity, or a 300-page layout — I'll happily fuss over the details nobody's supposed to notice, from kerning to the exact amount of empty space, until the whole thing clicks. If it looks effortless, that's the trick (and probably the fourth draft).
Once upon a time, there was an author named Nate who got tired of watching brilliant books vanish into the noise. So he set out to learn every step of the journey — from blank page to bestseller list.
These days I help fellow authors self-publish without the overwhelm: professional formatting, author websites that turn browsers into readers, and software that makes publishing feel less like a second job and more like second nature. Happily ever after, with better margins.
An author-services and publishing-education platform I've helped build and grow since its early days. What started as a site dedicated to a trusted advance reader copy program and romance genre promo newsletter has become a trusted hub for indie authors, combining those early innovations with beta reader matching, one-on-one consulting, and a deep library of resources, all under one roof.
I've known and worked with Nate for many years through HiddenGemsBooks, and he played a big role in helping shape the site into what it became. In the earlier days, he was instrumental in much of the initial design and development work, helping turn ideas into something polished, functional, and user-friendly.
